Overview

What We Fabricate

USA Weld Express provides aluminum welding and complete aluminum fabrication for equipment, enclosures, and lightweight structural work. From our Houston facility, our certified welders produce clean, sound aluminum welds and finished components. Aluminum is demanding to weld well — its high thermal conductivity and tenacious oxide layer cause problems for less-experienced shops. Our welders use TIG and MIG with proper preparation and technique to produce low-porosity, structurally sound welds. Because we cut, form, weld, and finish aluminum in-house, we deliver complete aluminum parts rather than just welds. That end-to-end capability keeps quality consistent and lead times short. We serve equipment manufacturers, industrial, and structural clients across Texas who need quality aluminum welding and fabrication, delivered on time and priced right.

Precision CNC Laser Cutting in Houston, Texas

Aluminum welding and fabrication is a specialty that separates capable shops from the rest, and USA Weld Express delivers it end to end. Our certified welders produce clean, sound aluminum welds, backed by complete in-house fabrication.

Why Aluminum Is Different

Aluminum welds nothing like steel. It conducts heat rapidly, so it pulls heat away from the weld and demands more energy and careful control. It also forms a tough oxide layer that melts at a far higher temperature than the aluminum beneath it, which must be cleaned and managed or it causes inclusions and porosity. Successful aluminum welding requires proper joint preparation, cleanliness, the right filler, and experienced technique — which is exactly what our certified welders bring to every aluminum job.

TIG & MIG Aluminum Welding

We weld aluminum with both TIG and MIG, choosing the process to fit the part. TIG gives the precise heat control and clean appearance needed for thin sections, critical joints, and visible welds. MIG offers higher productivity on thicker aluminum and larger assemblies where speed matters. In both cases, our welders control heat input and shielding to produce low-porosity, structurally sound welds that hold up in service and look clean.

Complete Aluminum Fabrication

We do more than weld aluminum — we fabricate complete aluminum components. Aluminum can be laser-cut, formed on our press brakes, machined, welded, and finished all under one roof. That means we can take an aluminum project from raw sheet or plate to a finished, ready-to-install part, holding quality throughout and avoiding the handoffs and delays of coordinating outside shops for a material that not every fabricator handles well.

Applications & Advantages

Aluminum’s light weight and corrosion resistance make it valuable for equipment, enclosures, panels, and lightweight structural work. It’s about a third the weight of steel, which matters where portability or load reduction is important, and it resists corrosion without coating in many environments. We help clients take advantage of those properties with sound aluminum fabrication that delivers the performance the material promises.

Quality You Can Rely On

Porosity and weak welds are the common failures of poor aluminum work, and both trace back to preparation and technique. Our process controls cleanliness, oxide removal, filler selection, and heat input to avoid them, and each job is checked through our quality process. The result is aluminum welds and assemblies you can rely on structurally and that present a clean, professional appearance.

Why Choose USA Weld Express

With 17 years of fabrication experience and certified welders skilled in aluminum, USA Weld Express delivers quality aluminum welding and complete fabrication under one roof. Cutting, forming, welding, and finishing aluminum in-house means consistent quality, shorter lead times, and a single point of accountability for a material many shops struggle with. When your project needs sound aluminum work delivered on schedule and priced right, we deliver.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you weld aluminum with TIG or MIG?

Both. We choose TIG for thin sections, critical joints, and visible welds, and MIG for higher productivity on thicker aluminum and larger assemblies.
Aluminum conducts heat rapidly and forms a high-melting oxide layer that must be cleaned and managed. Without proper prep and technique, that causes porosity and weak welds — which our certified welders avoid.
Yes. We laser-cut, form, machine, weld, and finish aluminum in-house, delivering complete, ready-to-install aluminum components.
Equipment, enclosures, panels, and lightweight structural work where aluminum’s low weight and corrosion resistance are advantages.
By controlling cleanliness, oxide removal, filler selection, and heat input, and checking every job through our quality process to avoid porosity and weak joints.
